Susquehanna County Man Accused of Killing Mother

A 26-year-old Susquehanna County man has been arrested in connection with the death of his mother.

Authorities say Benjamin Ball of New Milford was charged with criminal homicide.

According to state police, troopers based in Gibson learned of the incident around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say police had been advised the man had killed 52-year-old Lisa Ball at their home on Washington Street.

Troopers discovered the woman's body in an upstairs room.

Ball was arraigned before Magistrate Jody Cordner. He was sent to Susquehanna County Jail without bail.
