A statement from Susquehanna County District Attorney Robert Klein’s office warns the DA’s current treatment for cancer is not lifting any pressure on criminals, especially drug dealers in the county.  Klein was diagnosed with neck cancer and has undergone surgery removing his tonsils and a cancerous mass. The cancer is said to have been confined to high in the neck area and involved the tonsils, tongue and lymph nodes.

Officials say the prognosis is good.

The statement says, “The residents of Susquehanna County can be assured that the District Attorney will continue to perform all duties of his office without interruption.”  The DA plans to try to schedule the six-weeks worth of treatments before or after his normal working hours.
