Police say a farmhouse in Susquehanna County was destroyed by a fire that someone set.

Authorities say the blaze tore through the vacant structure on Route 267, south of Birchardville Road in Forest Lake Township.

According to state police, neighbors saw a pickup truck pulling into a grassy area near the home 15 minutes before the fire erupted. The first report of the blaze was received at 3:24 a.m. Sunday.

The farmhouse was fully engulfed in flames within a few minutes.

Investigators say the fire was ruled an arson. They say another arson fire occurred at the home in September 2013.
