Officials in Broome County are trying to zero in on suspects in a string of knifepoint robberies lately that have been reported at convenience stores and even a few Chinese restaurants.

City of Binghamton are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in over a half dozen robberies just in the City over the past several weeks.

There have also been similar heists in Johnson City and a Chinese restaurant in Hillcrest.

The description of the suspects in all the incidents have been almost identical. In each case the robber is said to be a white man, thin, apparently in his 20s and he typically has been wearing dark clothing and a mask or scarf partially covering his face.

Police are asking residents if they notice anything suspicious to immediately call the authorities, especially if an incident involves someone entering a store with their face covered or acting suspiciously.
