31 year old Joshua Taylor has rejected a plea deal for a reduced charge of manslaughter that still would have carried a sentence of 18 years to life in prison.

He’s accused of shooting 33 year old James High to death on Chenango Street in July 2015.

The U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Task Force tracked Taylor down in New York City and returned him to Binghamton.

Taylor is due to go on trial in March.
