Suspect Apprehended in Owego Robbery

Investigators say a man was being held in connection with a reported strong-arm robbery in Tioga County.

Authorities say police were called to a Citgo gas station and convenience store on West Main Street in the village of Owego just after 1:30 Monday morning.

When sheriff's deputies arrived, the suspect was still at the business.

Investigators say the man ran away. He was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
