Super Drunk Driving Patrols for the Weekend

Lots of parties are planned for the weekend for football fans and that means a busy weekend for area law enforcement officials.

Special Drunk Driving enforcement patrols are out this weekend looking for impaired drivers.

The Broome County Stop DWI Program urges people to have a plan for a safe trip home if they are attending a party where they consume alcohol and hosts should offer plenty of food and non-alcoholic drinks. A tip is offered for party-goers, besides alternating between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and eating lots of food, stop drinking after the third quarter.
