SUNY Delhi Students Accused of Selling Drugs

Three students of the State University of New York at Delhi are facing drug charges.

Delaware County Sheriff's officials say 21 year old Jerome Swaggard of Brooklyn is charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal sale of marijuana.  21 year old Matthew Balzano of Chester, New York is charged with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance for allegedly selling a hallucinogenic known as 'Molly.'  20 year old Robert Plaut of Farmingdale is charged with three felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, also for the alleged sale of 'Molly.'

Molly, which is also known on the street as Mandy, is a crystalized form of ecstacy. Officials say the crystal powder form makes for a more potent drug.

The three were arrested May 10th on a sealed indictment following a three month investigation.  All there were sent to the Delaware County Jail without bail.
