Delaware County Sheriff's officials are revealing more information about the deaths of State University of New York, Delhi Professor Willis Brown and his wife, Wendy in their Main Street home in the village of Franklin.

Investigators say Willis Brown, who was an assistant professor of applied sciences and building technologies at SUNY Delhi, called the authorities himself on the morning of November 7th to say he had shot his wife, Wendy Brown and was going to kill himself.

An off-duty sheriff's deputy who was nearby responded immediately to the home and discovered the bodies at 6:45 a.m. 

Willis and Wendy Brown, who were both 58 years old, died of gunshot wounds.
