When Hurricane Harvey slammed into Texas on August 25th as a category 4 hurricane, it left behind an estimated $180 billion in destruction. Roughly 13 million people from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky have been affected by this storm. In short, Harvey was nothing short of catastrophic and the people in the affected areas need help. Our help.

On Thursday, September 28th, a Hurricane Harvey Relief Festival will be held on the grounds of SUNY Broome Community College on the green in front of campus near the basketball court from 11am-2pm and the public is invited to attend.

This event will include a to-go chicken BBQ ($10 per person) along with musical entertainment, games, desserts, hamburgers and hot dogs, a magician and more.

All proceeds will be donated to those affected by hurricane Harvey.
