Four SUNY Broome students have been arrested after an investigation into the theft of another student's credit card.

Authorities say 21-year-old Cantana Bailey and 18-year-old Moises Peralta were charged with felony counts of identity theft and possession of stolen property.

Investigators say 19-year-old Michele Barrett and 18-year-old Steven Robinson were charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the credit card was swiped from a wallet left unattended by a student in a common area of the Student Village dorms on the town of Dickinson campus. The theft occurred early last month.

A detective said the stolen card was used to pay for pizzas delivered to the dorms and to pay bills. The total amount charged on the card was less than $1,000.

The four suspects were released on appearance tickets. Another arrest is expected in the case.
