Student Stabs Father at Binghamton University

Investigation Continues Into Student Stabbing of His Father

     Several police agencies including Binghamton University police responded to a reported family dispute at Choconut Hall at approximately 6:18 PM Sunday.  According to several news organizations Min Park, a junior at the University got into a dispute with his family and stabbed his father numerous times as well as injuring his mother and sister who tried to intervene in the disagreement.

     Park has been charged with felony assault.  He was arraigned in the Town of Vestal Court and sent to the Broome County jail without bail.  Sources report Park’s father was  in the intensive care unit at Wilson Hospital with injuries suffered in the fight. No word on the extent of the injuries to his mother and sister. 

     Park is from Great Neck.  No further details concerning the dipute are available.
