The City of Binghamton is welcoming high school and college students participating in a free five-week class to look inside the City Police Department.

The Student Citizen Police Academy beings April 17 and is held every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p-m through May 17.

Students will be able to participate in a number of programs in the police department but students under the age of 18 cannot participate in the firearms training or ride-a-long portions.
