The American Heart Association has designated February as Heart Month and visitors at Lourdes Hospital this Saturdayy will be able to find out more about stroke and cardiovascular disease.  Lourdes will be hosting a free event from 9 AM - 1 PM in the maine lobby of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Drive in Binghamton.

Those who attend will be able to learn more about stroke and warning symptoms of stroke and heart disease.  There will be a stroke assessment evaluation.  Blood pressure screenings will be conducted.  There will be information on diet and nutrition as well as exercise and fitness.

Heart disease and stroke are the biggest killers of women in the United States.  Advances have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke.Learn how to lower your chances of heart disease and stroke by attending this free event on Saturday.
