The Portland Sea Dogs stopped the Binghamton Mets four-game winning streak tonight (Friday) at Hadlock Field in Maine.  The Sea Dogs rocked the B-Mets by a final score of 9-3.  The loss puts Binghamton's record at 45-52 while the Sea Dogs move to 36-62.

Portland used two big innings to open a big lead.  The Sea Dogs scored four runs in the third inning and four more in the seventh to secure the win,

Mickey Jannis was touched up for five runs and seven hits in 3.1 innings of work and took the loss.  His record falls to 3-9.  Jayce Boyd ripped a two-run home run for Binghamton.  It was his first of the season.  The other marker came on an RBI single from Amed Rosario.

The teams meet again Saturday at 6:00 PM.  Broadcast time is set for 5:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
