Strawberry Festival Continues in Owego

The Strawberry Festival continues until 5 Saturday in Owego.  A number of events were held yesterday when the annual celebration began.  There is some parking around the outskirts of the event.  Visitors are urged to take shuttle bus service to and from the down town area.  Parking and shuttle service is available at The Hickories and at Marvin Park.  There is a $3.00 charge for the service.

Beer and wine tasting is being held on the Front Street Deck.  There is a Kids' Zone at Draper Park throughout the afternoon.  Deveroe entertains in Ahwaga Park at Front and Church Streets from 3:30 - 5:00 PM.

This is the 35th annual Owego Strawberry Festival.  This year over 200 vendors and artisans are featured.
