Strange Police Scanner Transmission

You never know what you may hear on the scanner in the early morning hours. 

In an actual recent transmission in connection with an investigation by a local police agency, one of the investigating officers on the scene of the incident called for a camera, which is standard proceedure.

A short time later, the officer called headquarters again requesting another camera since the battery on the one they sent was dead.  Headquarters replied: "Can you STEAL one from somewhere?"!

I almost fell off my chair!
