Emergency Services officials in the Twin Tiers report debris over roads and some streets closed due to damage from strong thunderstorms.

Broome County officials say Porter Hollow Road in Colesville and Daugherty Road in the Town of Maine had to be closed due to flash flooding resulting from a heavy rainfall overnight June 14.

Newfield schools have been closed due to flooding and poor road conditions.

New York State Electric and Gas had no large areas of power outages addressed, however.

Motorists were still being advised to be aware there could be areas with debris over roadways following the heavy rain overnight.
