Storable Energy Systems Booming

Battery power is to be the focus of discussion November 3 at the Binghamton University SUNY Business and Education Cooperative of the Southern Tier event.

Energy Storage will be examined by an interactive panel of professionals at 10 a.m. at the Binghamton University Downtown Center on Washington Street in Binghamton.

Organizers say information will be presented on today’s batteries versus batteries of the future and the role of Binghamton University's Smart Energy Facility in future research and development.

It’s believed the stationary energy storage industry will grow to a $9 billion business by 2025 and play an important role in the future of the economy.
