Stolen RV Recovered in Tompkins County

A Cortland woman is accused of making off with a camping trailer.

Cortland County Sheriff’s Investigators say they arrested 22 year old Lori Maricle Thursday, April 28 in connection with the theft of the camper that was reported stolen in November.

At the time of the initial report, the owners said the RV was parked on their property in the Town of Freetown.

Sheriff’s investigators say they followed up on tips that lead them to Tompkins County.

Officials say the camper will be returned to its property owners following the investigation.

Maricle turned herself in to the Sheriff’s Office and was charged with felony grand larceny.

She’s been ordered to appear in Town of Cortlandville Court May 18^th.
