NY State Police officials responded to an Endwell home Thursday evening after receiving 911 calls that there was a disturbed man firing a rifle inside that residence.

Police say that 22 year-old Willam Yeager fired a 12 gauge shotgun in an upstairs bedroom at 316 Wilson Avenue at around nine-thirty Thursday evening.  Yeager's mother and sister were reportedly in the residence at the time of the incident.

Yeager allegedly fled the residence on foot when Troopers arrived but was quickly apprehended.  He is charged with Reckless Endangerment and was sent to the Broome County Jail following his arraignment in Town of Union Court.
