Stabbing Reported in Binghamton

City of Binghamton Police are investigating a reported stabbing on the West Side.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Main Street between Murray and Chapin Streets at around 5:50 a.m. August 15 with a report of someone stabbed in the leg.

Authorities were looking for a white man who was wearing a brown jacket at the time and last seen headed east on Main Street.

The victim's injuries were not life threatening.
