Stabbing Investigation in Binghamton

Binghamton detectives are continuing their investigation into a stabbing incident on Downs Avenue that was reported at around 2:50 a.m. January 1.

A man was found outside a home suffering from stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.Police have not released the name of the man.

Detectives say there may be more than one person who was involved in the assault.

Since the victim was found outdoors police did not release a specific address of where the crime occurred.
