The Annual St. Cyril's Parish Festival drew a large crowd yesterday.  The Festival on the Parish grounds at 148 Clinton Street in Binghamton went from 11 AM-6 PM.  Featured were traditional favorites like halupki.  Organizers told WNBF news parishioners made 10,000 halupki for the one-day event.

Another huge favorite was buchti.  Hundreds of apricot and poppy seed buchti were made.  They have been favorites over the years for visitors to the Festival.  There were plenty of other baked goods like cookies, cupcakes and cake for sale, too.

The year's big fund-raider for St. Cyril's parish drew several thousand people.  Many got meals to eat under the big tent in the church parking lot while others got take-out to bring home.  Along with halupki there was a chicken barbeque, hot dogs and ice cream available.

Musical entertainment was provided by the Binghamton High School Steel Drum Band...the "Juice Blenders" and the Rich Bobinski Orchestra.
