Spencer Burglars Steal Guns and Change

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials are asking for help in finding people who broke into homes on Crumtown Road in the Town of Spencer October 19 and 27.

Authorities say both burglaries happened between 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

In both incidents, rifles and loose change were taken.

One suspect, caught on a surveillance camera, is white with dark hair and a scruffy beard and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball hat and blue jeans at the time. He was also carrying a red and black backpack.

He and another suspect may be driving a pickup truck.
