The Maine-Endwell Spartans toppled the Windsor Black Knights 54-28 at Spartan Stadium on Saturday afternoon.  The Homecoming victory puts Maine-Endwell's record at 3-2 while Windsor falls to 1-4.  The win also avenges M-E's Section 4 Semi-final loss to Windsor last year.

The Spartans sparkled on offense.   Led by quarterback Joe Mancini M-E was up 34-7 by the end of the first half.  Mancini did a standout job running the Spartans' option-oriented offense.  He combined that with some pinpoint passing to keep the Black Knights on their heels.

Mancini scored a pair of touchdowns plus a two-point conversion in the first half.  He also fired a fifty-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Brozovic to account for another six points.

Josh Chandler also had a big game for the Spartans notching three touchdowns including a 61-yard run early in the third quarter.  Quarterback Zach Wolcott ran for a pair of touchdowns for the Black Knights.  Dante Kimbrough had two long kickoff returns for touchdowns for Windsor.
