The Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC) is holding its 30th Anniversary Community Carnival tomorrow from 11 - 3 at 135 East Frederick Street in Binghamton.  The entire community is invited to celebrate in the festivities.

STIC provides services for people with all disabilities. The Center is non-residential.  Most of the board members have disabilities and many members of the management staff also have some form of disability.

Much of the work done by STIC is to help governments, schools and businesses change how they operate to enable people with disabilities to become better integrated into the workplace and society.

At tomorrow's Community Carnival there is free admission, food, fire trucks, fire fighters, face painting and a dunk tank.  With temperatures predicted to be in the 80's the dunk tank is expected to get a lot of attention.  Additional information is available by calling 724-2111.
