Southern Tier DWI Saturation Patrols Begin

Law enforcement officers locally and across the state will be spending about two weeks stepping up efforts to nab drunk and dangerous drivers.  Broome County Stop DWI is coordinating the crackdown that runs from through January 3.

Officials advise revelers to have a plan to stay alive before they head out to parties, including having a designated driver or cab fare and to also report suspected drunk drivers by dialing 911 when it is safe to do so.
