Snow, Sleet and Rain Delay Twin Tier Classes

If there were any doubt that February is still a winter month, it was all removed by the latest storm.Snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain along the Intersate 81 corridor resulted in numerous school delays.

Mixed precipitation is expected to continue into the end of the week.

Area police had reported several crashes, including one in which a woman was seriously injured in Kirkwood at around 8:30 February 26th.  Authorities were not sure if the crash was directly caused by the weather since the motorist was unresponsive when she was removed from the wreckage.
