Snow Prompts School, Event Cancellations

Thursday, February 13: Binghamton University announced classes after 3:30 pm were canceled. Earlier classes were to be dismissed by 4:30 pm.

SUNY Broome Community College announced it would close at 6 pm. Thursday evening classes were canceled.

Most school districts dismissed students early and canceled after-school activities for Thursday.

Many scheduled events around the region also were canceled or postponed as heavy snow continued to fall across the Twin Tiers.
