Snow and Ice Coat the Twin Tiers

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A few minor crashes are reported as snow, sleet and freezing rain coat the Twin Tiers overnight.

The National Weather Service had issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 a.m. November 17.

Emergency Services officials had reported calling out road crews to salt slippery areas.

Walking was also a challenge as sidewalks were coated with ice.

A number of schools had called in delays.
