Skillets Fly for Chenango County Habitat for Humanity

The annual Chenango County Dairy Day June 20 features the Chenango County Habitat for Humanity Skillet toss competition to raise money for the charity.

Participants of all ages will make donations of at least one dollar for two throws of a specially fabricated and weighted 3 1/2 pound steel skillet trying for the greatest distance.

Individuals or teams interested in tossing the skillet can find pledge sheets online at www.habitat.chenango.org under Fund Raisers/skillet toss to print.

Dairy Day, meanwhile, celebrates all things agricultural and healthy.  The events take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.
