The cast iron will be flying in Greene as the annual Skillet Toss to benefit Habitat for Humanity takes place.

The fun competition is part of the Greene Applefest, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Greene.

The popular craft show and sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. September 26.

Competitors in the Skillet Toss get two throws for a dollar and other donations are accepted to help Habitat for Humanity in Chenango County.
