Sidney Man Gets Additional Heroin Charges

A Sidney man being held in the Delaware County Jail since his arrest last month is now facing several charges following the opening of a sealed Grand Jury indictment warrant.

38 year old Richard Swislosky was arrested October 8 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a forged instrument following a month-long investigation into heroin trafficking in and around the Village of Sidney and City of Oneonta conducted by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Sidney Police and probation officers.

In addition to a Grand Jury indictment on those charges, Swislosky is charged with two additional felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in relation to heroin sales prior to his arrest.

Swislosky is being held on $100,000 bail.
