Binghamton police are investigating a drive-by shooting in a West Side neighborhood.

Authorities say several shots were fired at an occupied home at 181 West End Avenue.

Detectives say police received a report of shots fired around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers determined that several rounds were fired from a handgun at the residence. Investigators say no one in the home was injured.

Police have not released a vehicle description or any information about possible suspects in the shooting.

Investigators have been kept busy in recent weeks with a series of shooting incidents.

Two men have been charged in connection with a June 20 West Side shooting. Police said that incident on St. John Avenue occurred in connection with a robbery.
