Sherburne Man Arrested for Drug Possession

Failing to stop for Chenango County Sheriff’s Deputies is resulting in several charges for a Village of Sherburne man.

Sheriff’s officials say they tried to stop 27 year old Donald McLain Junior during a narcotics investigation.

He was later taken into custody with the assistance of the Road Patrol and found to be in possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle.

McLain is charged with failure to comply, criminal possession of a controlled substance and several traffic infractions.

He was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $2,000 bail.
