Sharkey’s Sign Busted by Truck

A familiar sign on a Glenwood Avenue, Binghamton business is noticeably missing following a mishap with a tractor trailer.

The Sharkey’s restaurant sign was pulverized in January when a tractor trailer bounced onto the curb.

Restaurant owners say they believe it will cost about $7,000 to replace.

The trucking company has given Sharkey’s some money to go toward the new sign.
