Sex Abuse Allegations Against Waverly and Candor Men

A Waverly man is charged with felony rape and felony criminal sexual act.

Village Police say 23 year old Kyle Lowry is accused of having sex with an underage girl.

Police say in addition to the felony counts, Lowry is also charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

He’s being held in the Tioga County Jail on $15,000 bail. He was arrested July 28.

Meanwhile, Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say a Candor man is facing felony and other charges on allegations of sexual abuse.

Sheriff’s officials say 53 year old Dennis Rose is under indictment on two felony counts of sexual abuse and one misdemeanor count of sexual abuse.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rose July 30 on a grand jury indictment.

He was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $5,000 bail.
