Binghamton Bearcat seniors Marlon Beck II and John Rinaldi lead their team into the America East post-season tonight at Stony Brook.  The Bearcats face an uphill battle as they go into the playoffs as a seventh seed.  The Seawolves are a second seed.  Over the years the seventh seed is just 2-28 when meeting a number two seed.  The teams split their series during the regular season with each winning at home.

Beck is finishing a stellar career at Binghamton.  He joined the 1,000 point career club earlier this season.  He also broke Troy Hailey's career three-point scoring mark this season as well.

Rinaldi brought a hustling hard-nosed approach to his 102 game career.  He has added a spark whenever inserted into the Bearcat lineup often providing a steadying influence in the backcourt.  This week he became the first Bearcat to be honored with selection to the America East All-Academic Team.

Tonight's (Wednesday) game is set for a 7 PM start.  Coverage begins at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
