Fans who were in attendance at Monday night's Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball game at the Events Center may have thought they were seeing double.  Twin sisters faced each other for the first time as rivals at the collegiate level.

Rebecca Carmody is a member of the Bearcats.  Twin sister Rachel plays for the Misericordia Cougars. Rebecca is the one with the dark black glasses.   Both are starters for their respective teams.  Binghamton's Rebecca won this tussle as her Bearcats earned a 73-44 victory.  She scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and had a pair of steals.  Rachel had five points and added four rebounds.

Both Rebecca and Rachel were standouts at Western Wayne High School in Waymart, Pa.  Their parents are Bill and Colleen Carmody who were at the Events Center for the game. Western Wayne's girls' basketball team was also in attendance.
