Security Breach at NYSEG Parent Company

Iberdola USA, the parent company, of NYSEG, RG&E and CMP, has identified a breach of security. The company is investigating unauthorized access to its recruitment site with help from the FBI and other forensics experts. The incident doesn't involve any customer data, only those who completed pre-interview applications and were offered positions with Iberdola, and its affiliates, since 2007. Iberdola has offered a year of free credit monitoring to those affected.
