Three Section 4 Football Champions continue their quest for a New York State Football crown.  Maine-Endwell, Chenango Forks and Tioga Central all won their quarterfinal- round games over this past weekend.

Maine-Endwell won its 49th consecutive game with a 27-10 victory over Homer in a Class B battle that was even at 7-7 through the first half.  The Spartans were sparked by Kyle Balmer's two fourth-quarter rushing scores to earn the win and advance to face Cheektowaga out of Section 6 at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester this Saturday.

Chenango Forks clobbered Utica Notre Dame 57-14 to move on to the semi-final round in Class C play.  The Blue Devils meet Maple Grove from Section 6 Saturday at Sahlen's Stadium.

In Class D competition Tioga throttled Dolgeville 46-22 to advance to a Friday battle with fellow Class D powerhouse Randolph.  That contest will also be played at Sahlen's Stadium.
