Following that game the Union-Endicott Tigers topped Syracuse Nottingham 34 – 23. in Class A competition.  Tigers ace running back Michael Cheslock carried the ball for 153 yards and 3 TD’s to pace the winners.

In the first game of a triple-header today the Maine-Endwell Spartans also advanced to next week’s semi-final round as they clobbered the  Cazenovia Lakers 50-14 in B competition.  Standout wingback Justin Jacoby scored two touchdowns for the Spartans who are looking for their second consecutive state championship.  They won the Class A title last year and are competing at the B level this season due to decreased enrollment in the school.
