There is plenty of high school football playoff action set for this weekend.  Games will be played on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. News Radio 1290 WNBF will carry a pair of semi-final matchups.

Friday night in a Class A semi-final game the Union-Endicott Tigers travel to Maine-Endwell to meet the Spartans.  In their regular season meeting the Spartans rolled to a 37-7 victory. This time around the Spartans look to increase their own winning streak record as they go for number 60 in a row.

On Saturday it will be Dryden meeting Chenango Forks at 12:30 at Ty Cobb Stadium in Endicott.  Lansing qualified for the semi-final round but declined to play due to a player personnel shortage. That opened the door for Dryden to play.  The Lions finished the regular season 5-3 while The Forks comes in at 7-1.  The only blemish on their record is a one touchdown defeat at the hands of Maine-Endwell.

Roger Neel and Tim Smith call the action of both games on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Games can also be heard online at wnbf.com and via Radio Pup, a free app available for installation on your smart phone.
