State police say 47 year old Penny Gorens of Coatsville was driving a Wyalusing school district bus when she sped off Cotter Road in Wilmot township November 12th at about 4 in the afternoon.  The bus careened down a seven foot embankment into a field.

Officials say Gorens didn't check on the condition of the children on board and fled the scene with the kids still on the bus.

Several students were injured.
