Sayre Man Arrested for Waverly Burglary

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Sayre man is accused of going into a home and assaulting someone inside.

Waverly Police and New York State Police say 26 year old Travis Ruvolo surrendered himself to authorities and was charged with burglary and harassment in connection with the alleged incident on May 4.

Police said Ruvolo is accused of going into the residence at 3:30 a.m. and staying there with the intent to commit a crime but fled before police arrived.

After turning himself in, Ruvolo was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $10,000 bail.
