The Binghamton Bearcats battled the Sacred Heart Pioneers to a 31-31 tie at the end of the first half Saturday, December 12 but were outscored 38-29 in the second half and dropped a 69-60 decision.  Host Sacred Heart opened the third period with a ten point run to take a 41-31 lead.  The Pioneers then used another run of ten to one late in the fourth period to seal the win.

Binghamton's Imani Watkins led all scorers with 24 points.  Alyssa James registered her fifth double-double in 10 games.  James scored 18 points and grabbed ten rebounds for the Bearcats.  Kim Albrecht hit for double figures with 11 points.

With the win Sacred Heart moves to 2-7.  The Bearcats fall to 3-7.  Binghamton returns home to host Nyack College at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15 at the Events Center.  That game will be followed by the BU men playing host to St. Francis of Pa. at 7:30.  Both games will be aired on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
