Area runners are invited to take part in Sunday's Run For Your Heart Race at the Coal House on the Vestal Rail Trail.  Competitive runners are welcome along with casual runners looking to get exercise and to burn up some calories.

The run begins and ends at the Coal House and takes place entirely on the Vestal Rail Trail.  Running is a great form of exercise and can help in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

The Run For Your Heart Race ties in with the annual Heart Walk which was held on April 9th.  The Heart Walk raised over $245,000.  Proceeds help with research, education and advocacy.  Runners are urged to form teams and get pledges for their efforts.
