The Binghamton Rumble Ponies were postponed by rain last night in their series opener against the Harrisburg Senators at NYSEG Stadium.  The teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader today beginning at 5:35 (air at 5:20).  This is the only series appearance that Harrisburg makes in Binghamton in 2019  In six meetings in Harrisburg this season the Rumble Ponies are 4-2.

With a rain-plagued season the Rumble Ponies are playing their 12th doubleheader.  Binghamton has swept four twinbills to date, split six others and were swept twice.  Binghamton has two more doubleheaders to play. The Rumble Ponies have twinbills set for NYSEG Stadium on Tuesday, August 13 versus New Hampshire and Tuesday, August 27 versus Portland.

In tonight's first game Binghamton sends Kevin Smith to the mound.  Smith is 2-0 with a 1.56 ERA.  For Harrisburg Jackson Tetrealt goes to the hill.  Binghamton's game two starter has not been announced.

Of the 29 remaining games on the regular season schedule the Rumble Ponies have 19 of them at NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton brings the regular season to a close with nine consecutive home games.
