Following an open date on their schedule last night the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are back in action tonight when they host the Altoona Curve at NYSEG Stadium at 6:35 (air at 6:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Tonight is the first of three straight home games against the Curve.  The teams meet Wednesday night at 6:35 and then a special 10:35 AM game on Thursday.

The Rumble Ponies biggest problem so far this season has been the weather.  Binghamton's scheduled doubleheader versus Akron on Saturday got underway but the first game was suspended in the third inning with game two rained out.  An attempt to play on Sunday was also washed out so the Rumble Ponies were 0 for the weekend.

Tonight Binghamton puts an 18-13 record on the line while Altoona  is 21-13.  Casey Delgado gets the start for the Rumble Ponies.  He is 1-4 with an ERA of 7.28.  Tanner Anderson is the scheduled starter for the Curve.  He is 2-2 with a 2.90 ERA.  Tonight is the first time the Rumble Ponies play a National League affiliate.  Altoona is the Eastern League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
